Keeping St Lawrence Jewry open to the public to do its mission of bringing Christ to the City of London is not as easy as it sounds.  It requires lot of resources, both manpower and money. And we will need all the help that we can get.  So how can you help?

There are several things you can do to help.

1. Get involved.  You can come and worship with us.  We need more regular attendees at our Holy Communion Services on Wednesdays and Fridays.  If you can spare us some of your time, we also need volunteers to help us keep the church a welcoming space for all of our visitors and tourists.  If you have the time, then we have the task for your time.  Please contact Arnel if you want to volunteer for us.

2. Donate.  If you are a regular attendee at our events and services and a tax-payer, please use the gift-aid envelopes you’ll find in the pews.  HMRC will top-up 25% of whatever amount you donate to us.  The tax you pay them will go towards that top up.  Just make sure that your total gift-aided donations do not exceed the total amount you paid in tax for that same year.

Why not be a Friend of St Lawrence Jewry so that you can also enjoy the company of other Friends in events especially designed for them.  For more details, please contact Katrina.

If you prefer to give online, then you can go to give.net/stlawrencejewry webpage to do so.

You can also be a regular donor by setting up a monthly donation for the church.  You can either do it through Stewardship or by filing up the church Standing Order form.

From time to time, we have special appeal to help raise fund for a specific project.  2017 is the 60th (Diamond) Anniversary of the church rededication after it was rebuilt due to the damages done during the Blitz.  During this year we hope to raise some funds to replace the wooden doors inside the church with glass doors as our 60th Anniversary Appeal.  For further details about the said appeal, please visit our 60th Anniversary Appeal webpage.

3. Shop online. You can also help retailers help our church by shopping online via easyfundraining.org.uk. It's really simple: just shop online via easyfundraising.org.uk with over 2,700 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay, The Trainline, (and many more!) and whenever you buy something online, the retailer makes a donation to your chosen good cause. It doesn't cost you a single penny extra. To get started now follow this link Shop Online or download the leaflet How do free donations work?
