Church Hire

St. Lawrence Jewry hosts many events across the year, from traditional memorial services and weddings to exhibitions and music events.

Located adjacent to the historic Guildhall and Art Gallery, and within a short walking distance of a number of livery halls, St Lawrence Jewry offers a brilliant location and setting in the heart of the City of London, whilst remaining affordable for small and mid-scale events. The church is conveniently within a short walking distance of five underground stations (click About Us for more information) as well as the mainline stations of Liverpool Street and Cannon Street and nearby bus routes, we are easily accesible for visitors travelling by public transport.

 

There is step free access from the West Door and throughout the building, and a hearing loop system in place.

 

Church Hire Rates:

St Lawrence Jewry operates a competitive scale of fees (reviewed annually) which are variable depending on type of event, requirements, and availability.

Capacity:

The Main Church seats, in pews, 185 guests (increasing to 250 guests when using additional chairs located at the back and in the side aisles).

The smaller Commonwealth Chapel seats, in pews, 25 guests. (please note, during the Christmas season, seating in the Commonwealth Chapel is not available as it is used as a refreshments/hospitality area).

It is always recommend to make an appointment with the Church Administrator to visit the church to view the space and discuss your requirements.
